Remote activation of the Matrix LED high-beam functions that Audi ships disabled on US and Canadian cars. The hardware is already in your headlights. In one remote session of about 30 minutes, we enable the European (ECE) lighting features using genuine Audi software. No parts, no dealer visit, and it can be reverted on request.

What you get

  • Adaptive Matrix high beam – drive with high beams on at all times. Individual LEDs switch off to mask oncoming cars and cars ahead, so nobody is dazzled while the rest of the road stays lit.
  • Dynamic cornering light – the beam pivots into bends using steering and navigation data.
  • ECE road improvement – faster reaction, activation at lower speeds, a wider low-beam pattern and more light output, matching the European calibration.
  • Orange side-marker deactivation – the US-mandated amber side lights in the headlight are switched off for the clean Euro look.
  • Included free with the activation: single-sided parking light, crossing light with route data, maneuver light (2019+), acceleration measurement and lap timer in the dashboard.

Model-specific extras (added in the suite if your car supports them)

  • Blue laser light – cars with Laser headlights: enables the blue accent inside the housing and the long-range laser high beam.
  • Highway light carpet – Digital Matrix cars (e-tron, Q8 e-tron, facelift A8/S8): projects a 50 m carpet with lane-width markers.
  • Maneuver Assist, adaptive air-suspension lowering, RS/S-style taillight animation – offered where the model supports them.

Which Audis qualify

US and Canadian 2019–2026 Audis on the MLB / MLBevo platforms fitted with Matrix, HD Matrix, Laser or Digital Matrix LED headlights. Standard (non-Matrix) LED headlights cannot be activated – the hardware isn't there. Supported models include:

How the remote session works

  1. Order the activation and, if you don't already have one, the DoIP cable and USB-Ethernet adapter ($39.95, yours to keep).
  2. Book a session time. You receive a confirmation email with preparation steps.
  3. At the session, plug the cable into the car's OBD port and your laptop, and run FlexiHub so our technician can connect.
  4. We perform the activation remotely – usually about 30 minutes; a slow internet connection can make it longer.

What you need

  • A laptop next to the car: Windows 7/8/10/11, or a 2019+ MacBook on macOS 10.15+ (Linux also works).
  • A stable internet connection and the free FlexiHub app.
  • An ENET DoIP cable with USB-Ethernet adapter. Ross-Tech/VAGCOM, OBDeleven, Tactrix, J2534, Unitronic, APR, 034Motorsport, COBB and VAS/VNCI 6154 cables do not work for this activation.

Audi Matrix LED & Laser Light Full Activation Service

 

Unlock the restricted lighting capabilities of your US-spec Audi. This service uses Genuine Audi software to activate advanced European (ECE) lighting features that were deactivated for the North American market.

 

Core Lighting Features

  • Adaptive Matrix High Beam: Dynamically toggles individual LEDs to "mask" oncoming traffic and vehicles ahead. You keep full high-beam visibility without blinding other drivers.
  • Dynamic Cornering Light: Throws light around corners as you turn to illuminate the road ahead.
  • ECE Road Improvement: Enhances Matrix performance to match European standards: faster reaction times, activation at lower speeds, a wider low-beam pattern, and increased light output.
  • Orange Side Marker Deactivation: Disables the US-mandated amber side lights for a "Euro-spec" clean look.

How it Works

This is a remote activation service. Once you have your laptop and ENET cable ready, a technician will connect to your vehicle via FlexiHub to perform the flash.
