Audi Feature Activation Suite
Choose your Audi's year, model and headlight type and this page shows every feature we can activate on it, with prices, then books your remote session. Audi disables many European (ECE) lighting and driver-assistance features on North American cars even though the hardware is fitted. We enable them remotely with genuine Audi software – about 30 minutes per session, no parts, no dealer visit, reversible on request. What can be activated
- Matrix LED high beam – $499.95 (A3/S3/RS 3 8Y package $399.95): adaptive high beams that mask other traffic, dynamic cornering light, ECE calibration, orange side-marker deactivation, plus free extras (single-sided parking light, crossing light, maneuver light, acceleration measurement, lap timer).
- ECE headlight functionality – $49.95: European light behaviour and side-marker deactivation for cars without a Matrix activation.
- Blue laser light – $74.95 (Laser headlights): blue accent lighting and long-range laser high beam.
- Highway light carpet – $74.95 (Digital Matrix: A8/S8, e-tron, Q8 e-tron): a 50 m lane carpet with width markers.
- Maneuver Assist – $99.95 (2019–2023 A6/A7/A8, Q7/Q8, RS 6/RS 7, e-tron): automatic braking at parking speeds.
- Adaptive air suspension lowering – $149.95: up to 25 mm lower by coding, no hardware.
- RS / S-style taillight animation – $74.95 and separate brake light and turn signal in the A8/S8 OLED taillight – $49.95.
Supported vehicles
US and Canadian 2019–2026 Audi A3, S3, RS 3, A4, S4, Allroad, A5, S5, RS 5, A6, S6, A6 Allroad, A7, S7, RS 6 Avant, RS 7, A8, S8, Q3, Q4 e-tron, Q5, SQ5, Q7, SQ7, Q8, SQ8, RS Q8, e-tron, Q8 e-tron, SQ8 e-tron, e-tron GT, S e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT. Which features apply depends on the exact year, model and headlight type – Matrix activation needs Matrix, HD Matrix, Laser or Digital Matrix headlights. The page includes a headlight type lookup, or send us your VIN and we will confirm.
How the remote session works
- Order the activation and, if you don't already have one, the DoIP cable and USB-Ethernet adapter ($39.95, yours to keep).
- Book a session time. You receive a confirmation email with the preparation steps.
- At the session, plug the cable into the car's OBD port and your laptop, and run FlexiHub so our technician can connect.
- We do the programming remotely – usually about 30 minutes; a slow internet connection can make it longer. Add several features to one session and pay the cable and any surcharge only once.
What you need
- A laptop next to the car: Windows 7/8/10/11, or a 2019+ MacBook on macOS 10.15+ (Linux also works).
- A stable internet connection and the free FlexiHub app.
- An ENET DoIP cable with USB-Ethernet adapter. Ross-Tech/VAGCOM, OBDeleven, Tactrix, J2534, Unitronic, APR, 034Motorsport, COBB and VAS/VNCI 6154 cables do not work for Audi activations.
