Remote APR Tuning FAQs

Q. How does this work?

A. So first things first, you are required to purchase the APR Remote Tune Installation cable ALONG with the ECU/TCU tune of your choosing. The cable can be found for purchase Here. ECU and TCU tunes for your vehicle can be found Here.

After purchasing both, a Windows laptop with TeamViewer and good WiFi will be required. Once everything arrives, you will need to contact myself via E-Mail to schedule a time to perform the service.


Q. Will this void warranty?

A. All ECU/TCU tuning voids warranty. However, APR does offer a Plus program that retains the Factory Powertrain Warranty via a Third Party Warranty service. It does require to use only other APR products if you plan to modify the vehicle any further.


Q. Do I need a battery charger?

A. A 15A or higher charger is highly recommended for any tuning. A decent one can be found Here.
