For example, a drag racing setup demands different clutch characteristics than one optimized for daily spirited driving or endurance racing.

This clutch package is engineered for high-horsepower vehicles seeking launch characteristics similar to OEM performance. The Race-Engineered (SS) pressure plate is SFI-approved and offers a significant load increase of +600–800 lbs. over Stage 1 and 2 units. Pedal effort increases approximately 20–25%.

The disc assembly features heat-treated, wear-resistant hubs, drive plates, and springs for high load transfer and reliable operation. Its sprung center, combined with a marcel fin between the linings, provides a dual-dampening effect that closely mimics OEM engagement characteristics. The Performance Organic friction material, enhanced with high metal content, delivers greater torque capacity, higher RPM tolerance, and reduced operating temperatures—minimizing wear and glazing.
