Programming Requirements

1. Computer or Android phone (Laptop is preferred, but desktop may be used if you can place it near your car for the process)

Windows: 7, 8, 10, or 11
macOS: 10.15 or newer. Must have Apple silicon processor. Intel-based Macs do not work.
Linux: Ubuntu 20.04 or newer
Android: 5.0 or newer. Device must allow USB device sharing and have USB-C.

Great simple feature

This was one of three small upgrades I completed with the ACM Technik team. I really appreciate the “lock when leaving” feature, especially since I occasionally forget to lock my car. It has worked reliably every time so far, and the installation process was smooth. As long as you follow their email instructions and prepare ahead of time, the setup only takes a few minutes. Customer service was excellent, and I’m very satisfied with the results 🙌🏼🤙🏼😁

No brainer, must have!

This one works wonderfully now, I think it didn't once or twice out of over a hundred times. No more fumbling for the key to lock it, or getting the door sensor to work in the rain. Very highly recommended!

Missed this convenience feature

Having the walk away lock enabled now is a great compliment to the walk up unlock feature. Don’t miss having to hunt for my keys in my bag!

When Leaving For VWMQBevo

I got this done by Arrian who, luckily for me, lives in my city and I don’t have to do these remotely via computer. I didn’t know you could adjust the range Far/Medium/Close but it’s PHENOMENAL! Not having to screw around with the key fob or the MyVW app or the shortcuts on my iPhone to lock or unlock the car is heaven. I noticed Arrian had it on his R on another software mod and hummed and hawed about doing this but I’m so glad I finally did. I highly recommend. Thanks to Anthony and his team at ACM Technik.
