Auto Hold Activation – Audi A3 / S3 / RS3 (8Y, 2022–2024)
Take the strain out of stop-and-go driving. Auto Hold keeps your Audi stationary at red lights, in traffic, and on hills without you keeping your foot on the brake. Come to a full stop, lift off the pedal, and the car stays put. When you're ready to go, press the accelerator and the brake releases smoothly on its own.
What you get
Once activated, Auto Hold works through your car's factory electronic parking brake and braking system, with no added hardware. It's especially useful in heavy commutes, at long lights, in drive-thru lines, and on inclines where it stops roll-back. It also pairs well with adaptive cruise control in traffic, so you get a more relaxed drive overall.
After activation, a new Auto Hold switch shows up in your MMI under Settings & Service, so you can turn the feature on or off whenever you like, right from the screen.
