  • Made to order (5-10 business day production time)

This harness converts a 10-pin car-side loom to run OEM 14-pin Bi-Xenon headlights and is built specifically for Golf R bumper installs on the MK6/PQ35 platform. It preserves the Golf R lighting logic and eliminates tapping the Central Electronics module (CECM/J519) for a high-beam trigger—the shutter signal is handled within the harness.

This product is made to order and typically has a 5-10 day production time. It will ship directly from the supplier.

Key Features

  • 10-pin → 14-pin conversion for OEM Bi-Xenon housings.
  • No CECM/J519 tap for high beam: internal high-beam/shutter trigger path.
  • Designed around Golf R bumper installs (routing and lengths optimized for the R front end).
  • Retains low beam, high beam (bi-xenon shutter), DRL, turn, and marker functions.
  • OEM-style connectors, correct gauge, clean strain relief.

AFS / Auto-Leveling

  • OEM 14-pin Bi-Xenon supports AFS/leveling, this harness does not.
  • If AFS/leveling are enabled in your car, faults may appear—disable in coding for a clean scan.
  • If you need full AFS/leveling, use the AFS-specific harness (separate product).

Fitment & Notes

  • For MK6/PQ35 Golf R bumper retrofits using OEM 14-pin Bi-Xenon headlights.
  • Works for Golf R and for MK6 Golf/GTI owners doing an R bumper + OEM 14-pin headlight conversion.
  • Not intended for aftermarket housings or non-R bumper layouts.

Why This Harness

Generic 10→14 adapters often require a J519 high-beam tap and don’t account for Golf R-specific front-end wiring. This harness is mapped for the R bumper and carries the shutter trigger internally, so you avoid opening the CECM and splicing into high-beam circuits.
