Programming for retrofitted European IQ.Light headlights on the MK8 Golf GTI and Golf R. Fitted a set of Euro IQ.Lights and now the dash is lit up with warnings and the lights don't work properly? This is the fix: we flash the headlight modules with the correct software so they work exactly as they do on a European car. This is not the Matrix (DLA) activation – that is a separate item in the VW Feature Activation Suite.

Remote or in person

Headlight modules can't be flashed with the normal remote cable, so the remote option includes a VAS 5054 clone cable sent to you – which is why remote costs more than in person. Please contact us by email before or after purchase so we can plan the session.

Programming Requirements

1.  Computer or Android phone (Laptop is preferred, but desktop may be used if you can place it near your car for the process)

 

  • Windows: 7, 8, 10, or 11
  • macOS: 10.15 or newer. Must have Apple silicon processor. Intel-based Macs do not work.
  • Linux: Ubuntu 20.04 or newer

  • Android: 5.0 or newer. Device must allow USB device sharing and have USB-C.
