South Bend Clutch MK8 GTI/Golf R Stage 2 Drag

This system features a Heavy Duty Pressure Plate engineered for use with a puck-style disc, designed without a cushion between the linings to deliver short, precise clutch pedal travel. The puck-style disc reduces rotational mass and overall contact surface area, while increasing pressure per square inch on the friction material. This configuration minimizes inertia, enabling faster torque transfer from the engine to the wheels.

The friction material used in this race-oriented setup is Graphite-Impregnated Ceramic — a compound proven to outperform other materials in durability, heat management, reduced chatter, and torque capacity.

Recommended Use: Racing, drifting, and limited street driving — rated up to 520 ft/lbs of torque.
