Activate Audi Maneuvering Assist
Remote activation of Audi Maneuver Assist – the low-speed collision-avoidance system Audi disabled on 2019–2023 North American cars. The sensors and software are already in the car. In one remote session of about 30 minutes we enable it with genuine Audi software. No parts, no dealer visit, and it can be reverted on request.
What it does
- Below 6 mph (10 km/h), forwards or in reverse, the car scans its surroundings with the ultrasonic sensors and 360° cameras and recognises moving and stationary objects from about 4 in (10 cm) high – a pillar in a parking garage, a bollard, a moving car.
- If a collision is imminent it warns you with steering impulses and, if needed, brakes the car to a stop automatically.
- Interventions are shown in the MMI's parking view. It protects both bumpers – the expensive parts of a parking mistake.
Which cars qualify
US and Canadian 2019–2023 Audis on the MLBevo platform with the parking sensors and 360° camera package:
- A6 / S6 / Allroad, A7 / S7, A8 / S8 (2019–2023)
- RS 6 Avant, RS 7 (2019–2023)
- Q7 / SQ7 (2020–2023), Q8 / SQ8 / RS Q8 (2019–2023)
- e-tron (2019–2023)
Not offered on 2024+ cars: most already have Maneuver Assist enabled from the factory, and on those that don't, SFD2 security prevents activation. Not available on the A3/A4/A5/Q3/Q5 families. Enter your car in the suite to confirm, or send us your VIN.
How the remote session works
- Order the activation and, if you don't already have one, the DoIP cable and USB-Ethernet adapter ($39.95, yours to keep).
- Book a session time. You receive a confirmation email with the preparation steps.
- At the session, plug the cable into the car's OBD port and your laptop, and run FlexiHub so our technician can connect.
- We do the programming remotely – usually about 30 minutes; a slow internet connection can make it longer.
What you need
- A laptop next to the car: Windows 7/8/10/11, or a 2019+ MacBook on macOS 10.15+ (Linux also works).
- A stable internet connection and the free FlexiHub app.
- An ENET DoIP cable with USB-Ethernet adapter. Ross-Tech/VAGCOM, OBDeleven, Tactrix, J2534, Unitronic, APR, 034Motorsport, COBB and VAS/VNCI 6154 cables do not work for Audi activations.
Price and ordering
Audi Maneuver Assist activation is $99.95. Most owners add it to a Matrix activation in the same session.
