The radiator itself doesn't require new hoses or a thermostat. Inspect your existing hoses for cracks or soft spots before installation—if they're original from the 90s, replacing them alongside the radiator is smart preventive maintenance. Thermostat condition is separate; replace only if you're experiencing temperature fluctuations.
Do I need to flush the system before fitting this in?
Flush the cooling system before installation. Old coolant and sediment will circulate through your new radiator and degrade its efficiency. Standard system flush with distilled water, then refill with fresh coolant to factory spec.
