Frequently Asked Questions

Will these headers work with my factory exhaust system downstream?

Shorty headers bolt directly to your existing manifold flanges and connect to stock piping. You're not replacing the whole exhaust — just the primary tubes from the engine head to the collector point. Your current mid-pipe and muffler stay in place.

Do I need to pull the engine or remove anything else to install these?

No full engine pull required. Access is tight but doable from above. You'll need to disconnect the O2 sensor, unbolt the factory manifolds, and bolt these on. Some tight reaches benefit from lift access, but it's not mandatory for a patient DIY install.

Can I paint or ceramic coat these after I get them?

The stainless steel comes bare and uncoated. You can apply high-temp paint or ceramic coating before or after install — test your chosen product to ensure it bonds well to stainless and handles sustained header temps above 900°F.
