Factory mounting points — no drilling required. They bolt to existing frame anchor locations on both sides. Use the hardware you already have or source grade-8 bolts if your truck is missing any.
Can I paint over the silver finish, or do I need to prep it first?
The silver powder coat is sealed and paintable. Light scuff with 220-grit or higher before primer if you plan a color match. Otherwise the finish works as-is and holds paint well if you decide to customize later.
