On the Prius, you'll need to remove the bumper cover for access to the headlight mounting area. Plan on 30–45 minutes for removal and reinstallation if you're comfortable with basic hand tools.
Will this work if my factory HID ballast is dead?
This is the light housing only — it doesn't include the ballast or igniter. If your existing ballast works, reuse it. If it's failed, you'll need a replacement ballast and HID bulb kit sourced separately.
