You'll need to remove the inner door panel trim to access the switch module. The switch itself snaps into place from behind the panel — no soldering or splicing involved.
Will this work if only my window motor is bad?
This switch controls the signal to your motor. If your window moves slowly, stops mid-travel, or won't respond to the button, the switch is likely the culprit. If the motor hums but the window doesn't move, you have a motor problem instead.
What if the new switch doesn't solve the problem?
