This mounts to the existing brake light circuit — your factory connector should mate directly. If the connector doesn't align, you may need a small adapter harness, but no cutting of factory wiring is required.
Will I need new fasteners to mount this, or does it use the factory bolts?
It's designed for factory mounting points. Bring your OEM bolts when you install — hardware is not included in this assembly.
Can I paint or modify the black/smoke lens after purchase?
The lens finish is pre-applied and integrated into the housing. Attempting to sand, prime, or paint the lens will damage the tint. Install as-is for intended appearance.
