Description
This feature utilizes the Auto High Beam from the vehicle and will dynamically turn off/on individual LEDs to mask oncoming drivers or drivers in front of the vehicle from being blinded. Added bonus…when turning it will throw light around the corner to light up the area ahead. It will adjust the LEDs in different conditions ie rain, highway, rural, urban, etc.

This feature was currently only available from the factory on European vehicles with the IQ Light headlights that have the Light and Sight package.
This has been sought after in the NAR model Golf 8s since release.
Now you can have the function activated on your US model Golf 8!
Marking Light:
With Matrix LED Headlights, this bonus feature will be activated to turn on an extra beam to light up obstacles, pedestrians, or other hazards on the sides of the road. This allows for possible hazards to be seen more clearly at night.
Race Activation (Golf R Only):
This bonus feature makes the Matrix functionality extremely active while in Race or Nurburgring Drive Modes. It even activates the Matrix during lighter times of the day if vehicle is accelerating at high rates of speed.

- 2022 + Golf 8 GTI Autobahn (aka Performance in Canada)
- 2022+ Golf 8 R
- 2023+ Golf 8 GTI 40th (Canada only) optioned with Matrix headlights and Auto High Beams

Programming Requirements
1. Computer or Android phone (Laptop is preferred, but desktop may be used if you can place it near your car for the process)
- Windows: 7, 8, 10, or 11
- macOS: 10.15 or newer. Must have Apple silicon processor. Intel-based Macs do not work.
- Linux: Ubuntu 20.04 or newer
Android: 5.0 or newer. Device must allow USB device sharing and have USB-C.
