Our GLI rear wing is designed with function and performance in mind. This design has been cfd tested to optimize wing height and size for the MK7 GLI. The deck lid can still be opened by removing the knobs going through the bottom bracket. We strongly recommend pairing this with a chassis mounted splitter to balance the car.
Our design features:
billet laser cut uprights with a rounded edge detail
billet machined AOA adjustment brackets
5052 cnc bent brackets.
Satin black textured powder coating.
Efficient wing profile that provides minimal drag with large downforce potential.
Install requires drilling and cutting the body of the car. We suggest that a shop familiar with these modifications performs the install:
Drilling 4 holes in the deck lid and installing riv-nuts, above the license plate
Drilling 2 holes in the top edge of the deck lid
Drilling holes in the rear crossmember
Cutting 2 slots in the rear bumper cover.
This product is made to order, and has a 2-3 week lead time.
