15 minute install and works flawlessly.

I just installed this in my 2024 Tiguan non-R and the total installation time was about 15 minutes.

With a smallish flathead screwdriver you can pop the airbag out(YouTube search for airbag removal). You don’t need to remove any panels from the steering column or anything. You don’t need to unplug the air bag either. I just tested and it works like it should. Finally I don’t have to squeeze the wheel constantly to use IQ.Drive.
