- MK6 GLI (factory LED tails, 5-pin) — Requires this harness, needed to adapt wiring for proper function
MK6.5 / Facelift models — Not compatible, different tails and wiring
Important: To confirm which tail setup your car has, remove a tail light and check the connector.
Large 4-pin plug with thicker wires = halogen, no harness required
Small 5-pin plug with thinner wires = factory LED, this harness is required
